Mell Witt is an animal lover who has dedicated her life to the care of animals. At a young age, she wanted to be a veterinarian so she could help animals every day. With her sights set on veterinary school, she obtained a bachelor's degree in Animal Science with a concentration in Veterinary Bioscience. Mell worked as a veterinary assistant at multiple animal hospitals over a period of 6 years. As Mell's understanding of the field of animal care grew, she developed a passion for educating the public and pet nutrition. This culminated in shifting her focus from veterinary sciences to nutrition, earning her a Master's Degree in Animal Science.

Mell's passion to help pet owners on a daily basis led to her entering the pet sitting service, where she could offer services leveraging her veterinary, nutrition, and general animal science background. Many pet parents rely on her experience in veterinary medicine to help care for their pets' special needs.

Mell started Fancy Paws Pet Services to provide pets with loving care, especially when they have special needs that can't be met by the average next door neighbor. While Mell drops in, pet parents can enjoy peace of mind knowing that their beloved animals will be safe, get their medication on time, and stay on that diet and exercise plan the vet ordered, all from the comfort of their own home!
